Dr. Paul Proske, Therapeutic Optometrist and his staff at Vision Pro in Spring Texas have been providing quality eye care since 2007. Our friendly staff is dedicated to providing this care in an atmosphere of compassion and respect. Our goal is to remain at the forefront of eye care through continuing education utilizing the latest state-of-the-art equipment, technology, contact lens, and eyewear products.
Dr. Paul Proske is a native Texan who graduated from Tomball High School. He then earned his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Texas A&M University, his master's degree in biochemistry/microbiology from the University of Texas, and his doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Dr. Proske has undergone an externship specializing in contact lens fits, including soft lenses, RGP's, torics, monovision, multifocal, and post-operative lens fits. His second externship was in a cornea surgical center, where he co-managed LASIK procedures, diseases of the cornea, and corneal transplants. He has given a Grand Rounds presentation on the post-operative management of LASIK complications, and is published in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Proske is licensed as a therapeutic optometrist and an optometric glaucoma specialist. He has served as an Expert Case Reviewer for the Texas Optometry Board and for multiple years on the Dean’s Advisory Board at the Rosenberg School of Optometry.
He is married to his high school sweetheart and has two sons. Paul is also a pilot and enjoys flying his friends and family around Texas. His other hobbies include working out and blues guitar.
